If you have a budding artist in the house, or just creative kids who get bored easily, be sure to check out this 3D Magic by Tech 4 Kids. It’s a fun and safe way for them to design and build their imagination’s creations!

With 3D Magic Maker, kids can turn gel designs into 3D creations! Trace your designs on a template and insert it into the Maker. The gel becomes solid after enclosed exposure to LED light. Kids can connect finished pieces together to build multi-dimensional structures. The 3D Maker is unlike any other maker system, using light instead of heat for kid-safe play. The gel is available in multiple colors and the 3D Maker comes with an assortment of boy/girl templates including; Princess, Under The Sea, Construction and more.

I’m sure you’ve seen those fancy 3D printers that are rolling out, right? Well, this is a simplified and safer version for the kids. The basic set comes with the “oven” (aka the maker), gel, and several stencils. And it’s easy to use, straight out of the box. Because they use UV light, there is very little heat, so no burnt little hands and no nasty fumes.

Either use one of the provided stencils or create your own design on the blank board, put into the maker, and after about a minute under a UV light, the 3D Magic is ready! They are surprising resilient and can be baked a few times if a mistake is made or you want to add one piece to another.

Plus, there are multiple kits, such as a fashion, dinosaur and butterfly packs with additional stencils and gel refills. There are several color gels to play with as well, so there’s no limit on your creativity!
