One of my favorite parts about the holiday season is finding my favorite products in peppermint or candy cane scents! Like this Ava Anderson Candy Cane Body Scrub, which is all natural and perfect to use in a hot bath or shower after shopping all day.
I love that I can find products now, whether for skin care, beauty, or even pet & baby care that use natural and non-toxic ingredients. I always try to make the better choice (budget and options permitting) when it comes to items I bring into my home or buy as a gift for someone else.
This particular product, the Ava Anderson Candy Cane Body Scrub, is so great this time of the year. I’m already thinking of sugarplums, candy canes, hot chocolate, etc. And now I can also deal with my dry, flaky skin I get being inside the hot, dry air all the time.
I just take a little bit on my fingertips and massage on wet skin, usually in the shower or while I’m soaking in the tub. Then you rinse it off with warm, soapy water.
It’s made of a combination of sugar, coconut oil, crushed candy cane, and other delicious and natural ingredients, most of which you might find in your kitchen! Your skin will light bright and fresh, the sugar exfoliates the dead skin cells away, and the oils help moisturize your skin plus they leave a great tingling feeling behind!
