BerryBreeze provides an uncomplicated solution to refrigerated food waste, a solution based in science and nature and packaged in efficient technology. Activated oxygen consists of three oxygen atoms and is created when ultraviolet light or electricity breaks down the oxygen molecule into two single oxygen atoms, each of which quickly attaches to two more oxygen atoms (O2). While stable, the third oxygen molecule fights to break free, destroying polluting organic molecules by oxidizing them, which effectively disinfects and deodorizes the area. In two studies commissioned by the Food and Drug Administration, internationally recognized activated oxygen experts Dr. Dee Graham and Dr. Rip Rice determined that limited regular exposure to activated oxygen was not only completely safe, but also effective.

Before we got the BerryBreeze Fridge Fresh, I had to make a choice when I went grocery shopping. Either only buy enough fruit and vegetables to last for the next 3-4 days or buy canned instead. Now, nothing’s wrong with canned fruit or vegetables, and I use plenty of both. But some recipes are just better with crisp, fresh and natural produce!

So now I shop as I normally would, buying for usually a week at a time, and I can bring home those awesome fruits and veggies, especially the ones in season, and not worry constantly whether we’re using them up fast enough. The BerryBreeze Fridge Fresh operates on batteries and operates itself, so I can just turn it on and leave it alone. One less thing for me to worry about, and I’m fine with that!

Not only does it help my produce stay fresh longer, but it also helps neutralize odors in the fridge! So I can ditch my monthly box of baking soda too which I usually forget to trade out LOL

I found a few tips on the company’s website to help make your fruits and vegetables stay fresh longer, along with using the Fridge Fresh, such as:

• Store your leafy greens in the crisper/vegetable bin of your fridge
• If you don’t have a bin, keep them in a plastic bag and add a few holes to minimize evaporation and wilting
• Store non-leafy fruits and vegetables in their natural state if possible, such as in a bowl or basket

I like that it has the green indicator light on the front, so I can easily check that it’s got power and operating as it should be. It runs on a few D batteries and you just swap them out when new ones are needed. It doesn’t take up a whole lot of room, either (check the picture above).
