I love the holidays, but I dread all the preparation – the decorating, the wrapping, the cleaning and cooking. I always like the end result, but my house is small and so many things have to be hauled up and down to/from the basement, tubs unpacked and packed, etc. and then when the holidays are over, doing it all again!

So interesting to see everyone elses perspective! I really always dread the dishes after Thanksgiving. Other than that, I’m pretty good to go!

I have always been the one to do the most cooking for family dinners. Well, this year I’m taking a break. No 3 day kitchen marathon for me.

I dread the massive amount of cleaning that has to be done beforehand. We have two pups and their hair is EVERYWHERE.

I can never get the timing of all the dishes that I prepare done at the same time for dinner. Usually my back is killing me by the time we eat dinner that I can’t enjoy it.

The cleanup. The cleanup after every big holiday meal really sucks. Besides the cooking it is the only part that aggravates me.

At Christmas time when we decide to put up a lot of decorations, I enjoy displaying them, but putting them away and storing them is not fun! So I dread that time. Cleaning up after unwrapping gifts is not fun either.
