I Don’t Want a 90-Day Challenge. I Want Lasting Weight Loss. #CoreUnDiet
I heard about this company that sells a 90-Day Challenge weight loss program. I got online to check them out. It had wonderful pictures of a lot of good looking young people.
Now, I don’t have anything against good looks, nor youth. But I wondered how many years any of them could have struggled with their weight the way I have. Have you ever felt this way? I also wondered what happens to you on Day 91? Do you just slide back into normal eating…and gain the weight back? So, what’s the point?
Then I saw an ad for a 60 Challenge. Then 30 Days to Lose 30 Pounds. Whew! Can that even be healthy? What’s next 13 Days to lose 100 pounds? Do they just cut off your leg? Plus, I need to lose more weight than those kids, and I realistically know it’s going to take me longer than 90 days.
I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of the “Challenges” and those mostly-skinny people telling me how they overcome their “struggles” with weight. My cat knows as much about struggling with weight as they do…I think.
Most of all, I’m really tired of dieting. I saw this short video that explains why DIETS REALLY CAUSE WEIGHT GAIN. Check it out. It’s only about 1-and-a-half minutes long, but it made a lot of sense to me.
