Head Back to School with Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise Snack Recipes

Kids across the country are back in school now and my household is no exception. That also means that I am on deck to provide the best lunches and after-school snacks need to keep their minds and their bodies fueled for the busy days ahead.

Head Back to School with Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise Snack Recipes

For parents everywhere, finding recipes that are quick and easy to make can be a challenge, especially with busy schedules like ours. To help out, I have prepared a sure-fire delight that everyone will gobble up and you can prepare in a short period of time (around 10 minutes).

Ham & Cheese Bagels

Prep time: 7 mins
Cook Time: 2-3 mins
Yields: 6 bagel halves

Ingredients

Ham & Cheese Bagels ingredients

3 Mini bagels sliced in half
1 cup shredded Colby Jack Cheese
1/2 cup diced ham
1/2 cup Hellmann’s Mayonnaise

Instructions

Ham & Cheese Bagels process 1

In a mixing bowl, mix the cheese and ham together.

Ham & Cheese Bagels process 2

Stir in mayonnaise until well blended.

Ham & Cheese Bagels process 3

Spread a thick layer of the mixture on each of the bagel halves.

Ham & Cheese Bagels

Place in broiler for 2-3 minutes. Broil until melted and just starting to brown.

Ham & Cheese Bagels with school supplies

Serve with a side of grapes or other favorite fruit for a delicious afterschool snack!

Notes: For an adult version, consider garnishing with slivers of green onion.
