Board games are a favorite way to enjoy family time and bond for many people, for good reason too! They are a ton of fun! I can’t resist playing a game with my kids, my friends, my kids friends, or anyone that is willing to play! Not only do I enjoy friendly competition, but also I love to unwind without technology sometimes!

Blue Orange Games has a really fun new game out that I can’t wait to tell you about. It is called Attila and it is a ton of fun for anyone that enjoys the game of chess or other strategy games. Attila is a 2 player abstract strategy game where it is up to you put a stop to an old battle between Attila the Hun and the Romans!

This game is great for kids as young as 7, but it is fun for kids adults like me too! The game uses many skills from problem solving abilities to visual perceptions. I think it would be a great way to begin preparing kids for the game of chess as it is reminiscent of chess and it would open up concepts about actions and reactions to younger kids.

A game of Attila lasts from 10-20 minutes depending upon the skills of the players. I talked my son into trying to defeat me in a game of Attila, what began as an arm twist ended up being a solid hour of one on one time, laughter, being lost in thought of how to beat the pants off of him, and both of us asking for a rematch!

Attila from Blue Orange Games would make a great gift for just about anyone from kids to history fans. It is also a great game to add to your collection. I have a feeling you will play this one quite a few times should you buy it. The fun is absolutely historical.
