Memorialize Your Pet with a Petsies Plush Replica
If you have every owned a pet in your life, then you know how much they are more than just “pets”. My family has had cats and dogs in the house from the time I was born. Today is no exception and when I became a mom for the first time, my pets were so welcoming and loving to my daughter, from the moment I brought her home from the hospital.
Owning a pet in my house has always given my daughter the sense of caring, love and compassion for others. This continues as she is a young adult and shows so much love for our little Chihuahua, Max. We purchased Max for Hannah’s 11th birthday present and she has had him by her side ever since. She is 22 now, Max is getting older, at 11 years of age. While we know we still have many years left with our baby, I wanted to give her a memory that would last a lifetime, long after our beloved Max is gone.

I started the process of Hannah’s Petsies in February and Max arrived at our house in April, just in time for Easter!
I have to say that the attention to detail was so wonderful and really shows that the creators at Petsies know how much their creation will mean to the recipient. Each stitch shows a sign of love and compassion only a pet parent can understand and appreciate. For example, when Max was just a puppy and discovered his own tail, after chasing around for some time, he actually broke the tip of his own tail. When consulting the vet, they said it could be removed, but it wasn’t harming him, so we left it. It gave Max some character and that detail is proudly displayed in his Petsies replica. 
Max is a rare color of the traditional Chihuahua, in that he has a brindle coat. That was no problem for Petsies, as they were easily able to replicate his coloring and coat. 
While I am not quite sure how Max feels about his Petsies replica, I know that Hannah loves it and keeps it close to her proudly displayed in her bedroom.
You know my mom just lost her fur companion last month, Teddy Bear, her beloved poodle. I am thinking that a great way to memorialize Teddy is with a Petsies for mom to remember him fondly. Aww 🙁 our Tiny passed away 2 weeks ago. I would give anything to have one of these of her. We miss her so much around here we had her for 11 years. She was a member of our family and the sweetest dog you ever met.
Looks very life like. My aunt would have liked this for her poodle that passed away, he was very special to her.
