Prevent Driving Distractions with Drop Stop + Giveaway (Ends 3/27)
There are so many distractions into today’s world, especially while driving. From smartphones, the radio, kids, and more – being able to focus on the road is getting harder and harder. I know one thing that drives me crazy is dropping things while driving between my middle console and my seat. It happens all the time – change, a napkin, Chapstick, even my inhaler when I really needed it. It’s been so bad that I’ve had to pull off the side of the road before so I could get whatever I dropped. I’m thankful now that there is something to stop things from falling – the Drop Stop!
Featured on Shark Tank, the Drop Stop helps to keep things from falling down the car seat gap. This includes keys, phones, change, jewelry, pens, gum, or even an inhaler like I’ve dropped before.
Drop Stop was created by Marc Newberger, Jeffrey Simon, and a team of other individuals. In 2006, Marc nearly hit a pedestrian and a metal pole while on Sunset Strip when he went to take an important phone call and his phone fell in that dreaded gap. After being thankful he didn’t hit anything or anybody, he decidd to try and make something to block the gap. And I’m so glad they did! I remember seeing Marc and Jeffrey on Shark Tank and fell in love with their idea. I was totally rooting for them and was so glad when Lori Greiner decided to do business with them.
As a parent, safety is my first priority. And with the Drop Stop, things are a little more safer in my car.
This great invention is designed to fit any car, no matter if it is a car, truck, SUV, or van. I love that it can move back and forth with the seat without getting stuck. Since my husband sometimes drives my car and has to move the seat back because he has longer legs, we don’t have to worry about readjusting the Drop Stop.
As far as cleaning goes, the Drop Stop is made out of neoprene so it is liquid and stain resistant. To clean just use a damp, soapy cloth.
I love my Drop Stop – it makes driving more safe and it’s easy to clean. It’s a definite win-win in my book! I highly recommend that you get you a set for your car.
