The last time I purchased a good knife set was the week after my hubbie and I were married. That was 31 years ago! We are way over due for a good set of knives.
I haven’t purchased a decent set of knives in years.
I bought a new chefs knife about 3-4 months ago. That’s the only knife purchase I’ve ever made.
Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever bought knives! I think my first set was a hand-me-down. And then I got a new set when I got married, but that was 13 years ago!

It has been so many years I dare not even try to guess, I do have one knife that has stood the length of time one my little brother bought me some twenty years ago.
