Salmon Patties Recipe

Salmon Patties are a good source of Omega 3!


  • 1 can salmon
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup (approximately 20) saltine or butter cracker crumbs
  • Season Salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • Oil for frying

Open can of salmon and reserve liquid.  Remove and discard skin and bones.  Place salmon in a medium bowl and mush with fork until any remaining bones are no longer visible.  (salmon bones are fine to eat!)  Add remaining ingredients along with the reserved liquid.  Mix thoroughly.

Mixture will look similar to this.

Shape into patties and fry in about 1/4 inch of hot oil until browned.  (approximately 4-5 minutes per side)
