One of the largest craft beer festivals in southwest Ohio, Kings Island is having its annual Banshee Brewfest and you can be apart of it! The festival gives you the chance to sample more than 200 craft beers from all over the country from more than 50 breweries.
Some of the local breweries include Christian Moerlein, Listermann, MadTree, The Old Firehouse, Rivertown, Rhinegeist, Urban Artifact and more.
But that’s not all! You’ll also enjoy a delicious assortment of food, live music (with local bands including Stretta, Rusty Griswolds, Naked Karate Girls and What She Said) and so much more! The Kings Island Banshee Brewfest is your chance to participate in a different kind of beer festival since the park offers a plethora of thrills, adventures, and experiences for guests of all ages. I had the chance to visit on Saturday, May 7 with some friends and family and we had such an enjoyable time. There was so much to see, taste and do. Not only did we have full access to the amenities of the park, but we had a nice private area for the Banshee Brew Festival that was for 21+ only. We got to taste up to 15 different brews including Pale Ales, IBA’s, flavored Lagers and more. One of my favorite parts of the evening was listening to the sounds of the band, The Rusty Griswold’s. They played songs from 80’s, 90’s and today and their sound was nothing short of amazing.Your combo pass will give access to the park, 2 food tickets good for things like Italian Sausages, Pull Pork Sandwiches Chicken Wings and more. You will also get a souvenir beer mug and the chance to sample 15 different beers (5 oz. each) from over 200 flavors. Be sure to check out Kings Island for this and all events taking place this season.
