The upcoming producers taking Wall Street by storm
Every so often we’re hit by a wave of financial producers which seem to add something of a spark to Wall Street.
In comparison to other industries, the financial sector is one that’s easily analyzed. It could be argued that industry publications are right on top of the game; they will constantly release information that clarifies who’s making the biggest movements in the market and who really are the best individuals working within it. As far as we know, few other industries release such information.
To hone in on an example, On Wall Street runs an annual league table which shows who are the top producers in the country. This particular list we’re going to look at has only concentrated on those who are under 40-years-old, meaning that individuals such as Adam Rosenfeld Merrill Lynch immediately qualify.
We’ll now take a look at some of the most talked-about five on the list and highlight how youth is taking Wall Street by storm.
Adam Rosenfeld
We’ve already mentioned Rosenfeld so it seems natural to start the list with him.
At 37-years-old, Rosenfeld is part of Merrill Lynch and had a production of $3.44m last year. He is based in Miami, Florida and now has sixteen years’ worth of experience in the industry.
This experience began at Morgan Stanley in 2000, before he took his team over to Merrill Lynch. Now, his business tends to concentrate on ultra-high-net worth companies, people and families and their guidance will focus on anything from asset management right the way through to banking needs.
John Perry
Someone who still works at Morgan Stanley is John Perry, who at 36-years-old is another member who comfortably fits in to the under-40s league.
Perry again deals with high-end clients, although it could be said that there is a slightly higher emphasis on companies with new stock issues and buyouts being two areas which he tends to concentrate on.
Perry started at Goldman Sachs as a college intern, before going on to study at Indiana University. Coincidently, there’s another cross with Rosenfeld, with Perry also performing some work at Merrill Lynch during his earlier career.
Jim Fink
At 34-years-old Jim Fink is the youngest individual on our list, with Fink currently based at Deutsche Bank. Fink tends to concentrate on hedge fund clients and again places a large emphasis on working with families and individuals of high net-worth.
Fink currently works out of the Greenwich, Conn branch of Deutsche Bank.
Bob White
35-year-old Bob White currently works at Hightower. He has been in the industry since 2002 – whereby he entered the jobs market after graduating from the University of Delaware.
His career started in the private wealth advice field at UBS. Like most of the individuals on the list, White is another who places a lot of focus of high-net-worth families. At times his role can be advanced estate planning, while others it might be simply handing out basic financial advice and education to a younger member of the family.
