Windows 10 Features + EaseUS Windows 10 Easy Transfer Tool
Having the newest technology and software is a definite must for me. If you have not upgraded to Windows 10, there are many reasons why you should. Here are just a few of the new Windows 10 features that I love:
Start Menu – One of the most notable features is definitely the Start Menu. It’s back! I love that there are still Live Tiles, like you found in Windows 7 and 8, but you have your regular Start Screen as well. Find items by typing as soon as you open the Start Menu, and your most used shortcuts will appear in a list. I also love the animated live tiles that are integrated – makes for a great slideshow of photos.
Cortana – You have your own voice assistant with Cortana at your desktop. Perform web searches, get quick answers, set reminders, and more.
Microsft Edge – Internet Explorer is gone and Microsoft Edge is in. Read articles with text-only reader mode, use an annotation tool, and Cortana is integrated into Edge. Microsoft Edge is supposed to be more secure than Internet Explorer as well, which is a definite bonus and upgrade.
Central Notification Center – Just like Android and iOS, there is now a central notification center. Click the notification tray icon in the lower right hand side of the screen, or press Win-A, and you can see any system notifications.
Snap Assist – See up to 4 different windows at one time with Snap Assist. You can do half and half or a window in each corner. This makes for great multi-tasking.
Multiple Desktops – If you don’t have multiple monitors, you can now have multiple virtual desktops. Just use Alt-Tab to move between apps as usual and then Windows-Ctrl and the left and right arrow keys to move between desktops.
These are just a few of the new, great features of Windows 10. I have had Windows 10 for awhile now and love it. I find it to be faster and more reliable than Windows 7 and 8.
Don’t forget about Windows 10 easy transfer is with EaseUS. If you have an older computer you’re not upgrading, you can transfer files easily with EaseUS’s Windows 10 Easy Transfer program.
I have been pondering updating to windows 10 and found your comments very helpful!
You have to turn off the many authorizations on install or Microsoft has tracking to watch everything you do on computer, this is why it was free this year I bet. When I switched I did it manually instead of auto, and there were so many things to turn off. At least I know all my info related to my computer is not tracked by them. Most don’t know, they just let it automatically install. I ended up uninstalling anyway, I hated it!
