As I sit here on this amazing holiday, it reminds me of how fortunate I am to be able to enjoy days like today with my family.  From the time I was very little, I always remember taking a trip to the memorial site of my grandfather, an Army Veteran, and paying our respects for his and the service of so many that lost their lives fighting for the freedom of our country.

For me, Memorial Day means a time to remember, a time to reflect and a time to relax and enjoy time with family. Making memories big and small is one of the most rewarding ways I show my family how much I love them.

Many things are happening in my household over the next few months, including a high school graduation, college graduation, Father’s Day and more. This will mean a ton of outdoor bbq’s, picnics and family get-together’s.  From thirty years ago, to today, one staple that has always been present at our family functions is the delicious taste of Coca-Cola products.

Share A Coke Class of 2015

To prepare for our first of many parties, I headed to my local Giant Eagle grocery store to pick up the many provisions needed for a delicious and fun cookout.  While pursing the store, my eye was immediately drawn to he new “Share a Coke” display.

Coke has released over 1,000 names on their products, as well as fun sayings that can be shared with anyone including “Grad”, “Amor”, “BFF” and many more including fun emoticons. Since I wanted a combination of personalized bottles, as well as some general ones that anyone can enjoy, I picked up a nice combination of 2 liter bottles, 12-packs and a ton of individual 20-ounce bottles.

My favorite is the 20-ounce bottles, as they are the ones with the personalized names on them. I was able to select a variety of names for my daughter and her best friends who will be attending her graduation party next week.

As summer comes up, I know that we will be hosting and attending many outdoor events, including several graduation parties.  One gift that I plan to give each and every grad we know is a personal gift basket that will include a personalized “Share a Coke” Coca-Cola 20-ounce bottle with their name on it.
