Contrary to what many believe, our brain doesn’t have an expiration date when it comes to learning, especially a new language. In fact, there may be more motivational benefits in learning a new language as we age, such as a better memory, multitasking improvements, increased attention, and more.

Babbel has compiled survey statistics sourced from its users that reveals the interesting statistics in the graphic below.

Babbel

For recent grads, the app can guide them in picking up an additional language, which will help them to become more competitive in the job market.

While I am not a recent grad, the Babbel App is perfect for a seasoned learner like myself. I can work on picking up another language at my pace, in my free time. I can work on my language skills on my lunch break, while I am relaxing at home, or even when I am resting in a hotel room. That is pretty convenient!

Picking up another language is going to help me excel at my job and make me more appealing to my employer. It is also going to give me communication skills for when I hop on a plane for a trip abroad!

We often joke that there is an app for everything, there really truly is. Babbel is the app I recommend for anyone, of any age, that wants to learn another language or two! You can find the app on both itunes and google play.  There are a number of languages you can study with this great educational app from Spanish to Danish. Did I mention you can even start your first lesson for FREE!?

With the Babbel app it only takes a few moments a day to learn a second language. There are lessons for beginners as well as students that are looking to brush up on existing skills or build upon those skills. If you are a recent grad- get this app to make your resume stand out by adding additional spoken languages! If you are someone that has been out of school for a while, don’t let that stop you! Learning is something that can be done at any age, and sometimes the maturity and wisdom that come with age can make a huge difference in how you learn.
