The Bear & The Rat Frozen Dog Treats Perfect for Last Dog Days of Summer
I don’t know about you, but the “dog days of summer” weather don’t seem to be leaving the Midwest anytime soon. My pups are feeling the same way.
While they do enjoy the cool confines of the house on immensely hot days, that outdoor instinct in them is always they and the love playing outdoors. After a bit of outdoor play, I like giving them something rewarding and cold to enjoy and cool down with. The Bear & The Rat offers cool treats for dogs that they absolutely love.
About The Bear & The Rat: Cool Treats for Dogs
The Bear & The Rat’s company starts with a husband, a wife and their two dogs. The Bear is a Lhasa Apso who growls like a bear. His brother from another mother is a Rat Terrier. Together, the family believes in making high-quality frozen yogurt treats & supplements that are fun to eat and add nutrition. They contain no soy, gluten, wheat, xylitol, artificial flavors, preservatives or colors. They’re made in a real ice cream facility with ingredients you can pronounce.
What I have found exciting is that The Bear and The Rat have expanded their reach and products are now available in Whole Foods stores nationwide! Bella is a HUGE fan of Cool Treats for Dogs and her favorite flavor is Bacon & Peanut Butter. Made with applewood smoked bacon and peanut butter, she thinks of flavor combination is “pawesome” and gives it 4 paws up. Max, on the other hand, let’s me know real quick that his favorite flavor is banana and peanut butter. He loves this classic flavor combination and wastes no time at all digging into his special treat on a hot summer day.
The Bear & The Rat: Cool Treats for Dogs also has other delicious flavors, including pumpkin and cinnamon (great for fall approaching), goat milk and goat milk with coconut. I cannot wait to pick up these flavors for them to try.
These products are made with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. They also have no gluten, soy, wheat or Xylitol. Perfect, natural products that your pets will enjoy.
Living in Cincinnati, I have found these cool treats for dogs at Meijer, Pet People and Whole Foods. You can check their store locator to find them in select stores near you.
