World Travel Hotel Options ~ Think Hotels
I love to travel! There is something thrilling about exploring a new location; meeting the people, taking in the sights, the sounds, the smells. The best part of traveling for me is always the hotel. I guess it is the mother in me. After almost 18 years of making beds, picking up messes and cooking meals I enjoy the break that a hotel offers immensely. I think that all mothers can relate to me on that one!
That doesn’t mean that every hotel I have stayed in has been a welcome break. I have had more than my fair share of stays in a less than fabulous place. I chalked that up as a lesson learned. Sometimes living by the seat of your pants and scouting out the world on your own leads to less than desirable experiences. Thankfully the internet has changed the way I travel. No longer do I need to rely on an outdated guide book nor am I left hoping to see a sign for lodging from the highway.
When I am planning to travel now, I know exactly how to find a good deal on an exceptional hotel. I trust my stay to a cool Hotel Booking Site. No matter where my life is taking me for business or pleasure I know I can find a hotel that will be just as nice as being at home, if not better! Face it, the hotel will probably be better since someone else makes the bed for me in the morning.
While I want to stay someplace nice, clean, comfortable, luxurious and sophisticated that doesn’t mean that I want to pay steep prices while I am there. I love that I can select a room that meets my budget without skimping on the quality of the accommodations. Best of all, with a booking site I have plenty of options, which means that I get to select the hotel that appeals to me at a price I can afford.
When I travel internationally I am generally out of luck when it comes to asking friends and family to refer me to an awesome hotel, but with my internet booking trick I no longer have to worry about where to stay. Knowing what other travelers think of the accommodations is a deciding factor for whether or not I will book a room. It is nice to be able to search by ratings and stars to get an idea for what the hotel is really like before I spend my hard earned cash on a room. Getting there becomes the task at hand. Worrying about where to stay is a thing of the past and reserving my room becomes as simple as point, click and submit.

When you travel how do you decide where to stay? Do you read reviews online or do you ask friends and family for a recommendation? Have you ever used a booking site to find accommodations when you travel? I would love to hear about your experiences with travel and hotels.
We do not travel that much but we usually will book a room from online, either the website of the hotel chain or even check out bed and breakfast establishments. We read reviews of all the locations we are considering.
That camel photo is priceless! Hotels are so expensive you just have to have a plan and I’m saving this info for future reference.
