Descendants 2 Premieres July 21st #Descendants2Event
While in L.A., I had the chance to screen clips and music scenes from the highly anticipated new Disney Channel movie, Descendants 2.
In “Descendants 2,” the story deepens in the music-driven sequel to the global smash hit “Descendants,” as the teenage sons and daughters of Disney’s most infamous villains — Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay (also known as Villain Kids or VKs) — try to find their place in idyllic Auradon. When the pressure to be royally perfect becomes too much for Mal, she returns to her rotten roots on the Isle of the Lost where her archenemy Uma, the daughter of Ursula, has taken her spot as self-proclaimed queen of the run-down town. Uma, still resentful over not being selected by Ben to go to Auradon Prep with the other Villain Kids, stirs her pirate gang including Captain Hook’s son Harry and Gaston’s son Gil, to break the barrier between the Isle of the Lost and Auradon, and unleash all the villains imprisoned on the Isle, once and for all.
DESCENDANTS 2 brings about new villains including Uma (China Anne McClain), the daughter of Ursula, and her devoted henchmen Gil(left, Dylan Playfair), Gaston’s son, and Harry (right, Thomas Doherty), Captain Hook’s son. Later this summer, I will be sharing exciting interviews with several members of the Descendants 2 cast.
Even more exciting is that tonight, during the Radio Disney Music Awards, you will see a live premiere of a new song, “Ways to Be Wicked” . All the Descendants crew including Dove, Cameron, BooBoo and Sofia will be at the RDMA awards tonight (airing at 7pm ET) to introduce you all to the new music video. 
As if this wasn’t enough, Descendants will be making an appearance this Monday (May 1st) on Dancing with the Stars. Tune in as Evie, Mal, Carlos, Jay and others perform a medley of songs from the first movie including “Rotten to the Core”, as well as the new song, “Ways to Be Wicked”.

I think it is cool that Descendants made an appearance on Monday (May 1st) on Dancing with the Stars. I really enjoy that show.
We hosted a Descendants House Party when the first movie premiered! LOVED IT! It felt like High School Musical, but with fair tale characters. I am SO happy they made another movie! The books are great, too. I enjoy all things Disney, and I love that I can share these movies/books with my kids.

I saw the first one on the Disney Channel when it was on, and I can’t wait to watch the second one! What can I say, I’m a kid at heart in my 50’s!
I don’t remember seeing the first Descendants.movie. Which I am surprised, because I like Disney films and have seen most of them! This is coming out Friday and my grandkids haven’t bugged me to go see it – that’s weird too!
I have liked Zoe Saldano ever since I saw Guess Who and Boo Boo Steward since the Twilight saga. I watched both trailers. The movie looks adventurous & fun. Like the other people who have commented, if it’s a Disney movie, it’s got to be worth watching! Thanks for sharing!!
