There is so much going on in the world every day. World leaders have the job of making sure their country is the best it can be for its people and those that visit.

This is no easy task so finding something that can help them make better decisions and optimize the way they work is surely high on their list of priorities.

It can come in many forms such as improving systems in workflow or hiring extra staff to take a load off their pile. But what about a health supplement that can help with focus and relieve aches and pains?

This is what CBD is known for, among many other benefits.

The world could be a much better place if those with influence over current affairs used CBD from as part of their daily routine.

Here’s a brief explanation of CBD, its benefits and how it can be used by world leaders.

What Is CBD?

CBD is one of the two well-known substances found within the cannabis plant. common While CBD comes from the cannabis plant, it does not get you high. This is a common misconception that people have over its use. The compound that gets you high is called THC – the second of the two well-known cannabis substances.

CBD is legal at the federal level in the US courtesy of the 2018 Farm Bill – as long as it is derived from industrialized hemp.

While the research is fairly new, the results are very promising. Here are a few benefits of taking CBD and why world leaders would benefit.

CBD And Inflammation

Politicians can suffer from inflammation just as much as the next person. It can cause a lot of pain, preventing them from working at their best. This can be problematic, such as causing them to meet key international meetings that affect the will of the people.

There has been evidence to suggest that CBD can the body fight against inflammation in the intestines. The study showed that when mice ingested CBD, the level of macrophages (cells responsible for triggering the internal inflammation response) within their intestines decreases.

While this study was not done on humans, there is plenty to be excited about here. There is certainly potential for CBD oil to treat inflammation.

CBD And Mental Health

It’s also important to look at mental health. Being subject to constant media attention and being in the public eye can have dramatic effects on mental health; for example, you are subject to constant scrutiny from social media and news outlets, which could lead to all sorts of mental illness like anxiety and even PTSD in severe cases.

A Neurotherapeutics study found that CBD can help people suffering from anxiety and PTSD.

Here is an extract from the findings:

“Preclinical evidence conclusively demonstrates CBD’s efficacy in reducing anxiety behaviors relevant to multiple disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), panic disorder (PD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder (SAD), and obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD)… with a lack of anxiogenic (anxiety-producing) effects, minimal sedative effects, and an excellent safety profile.”

Stress And CBD

For the reasons mentioned above, like the constant attention and pressure to deliver on promises, the job of a world leader is among the most stressful on the planet.

According to Daily CBD Mag, CBD can help to relieve stress and therefore help world leaders to focus and make better decisions about how to run the country and provide the people with results.

Studies have shown that this is because of how CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system (ECS). It calms down the mind, meaning there is less of a static feeling when you try and think.

Lack Of Sleep And CBD

How many times have you seen someone on the TV looking tired and exhausted?

Sleep is very important for focus and concentration. If you don’t get enough sleep, you will feel sluggish and your overall cognitive functions will lower. Lack of sleep also raises your cortisol levels, making it much harder for the brain to process information and make a decision.

This is clearly a situation that world leaders would want to avoid.

Getting a good night’s sleep can lower these cortisol levels and, according to CBD Kyro, CBD can help.

Taking CBD can help to improve sleep by increasing rest time. It could also be due to stress and anxiety, something a world leader probably knows a thing or two about. CBD can help with this too and reduce insomnia for serious cases.

For those that can’t sleep due to pain, studies have shown that CBD protects the neurotransmitters in nerve cells that regulate how much pain is felt. CBD may also be able to help prevent chronic aches and pains.

Distractions And CBD

There are so many things that can distract a world leader nowadays, from social media to comments made in passing. As a result, it’s so easy to lose focus on the current task and have to deal with the latest scandal or fake news.

According to Kate Huber at NJGamblingFun “While multitasking is great, it’s often put to one side as we tend to give our attention to one thing at a time. However, while CBD can help a world leader you focus, it cannot remove a distraction from their surroundings.”

In this event, it’s important that they change their environment and their habits to those that can help them best do the work they were elected to do. While it may not be a good idea for a leader to ignore all phone calls, they could instruct secretaries to divert all those deemed not urgent for another time.

CBD could help world leaders focus and make better decisions. These are just some of the benefits of CBD but there are plenty more either not mentioned here or just waiting to be discovered. Not only would it help them physically and mentally, but it would also benefit the public that relies on them to make their country great.
