Travel in Time with Future-Worm! Premiering on Disney XD August 1 #FutureWormEvent
One of the stops along my journey in LA, I got to watch the first episode of a new series coming out on Disney XD. I also had the chance to meet the creator and talk with him in detail about the show.
From Emmy-Award Winning producer, Ryan Quincy, Disney XD has a new show coming out August 1, 2016 – Future-Worm!“Future-Worm!” is an offbeat comedy adventure that follows Danny (voiced by Andy Milonakis), an optimistic 12-year-old who creates a time machine lunch box and befriends Future- Worm (voiced by James Adomian), a fearless worm from the future with titanium-enforced abs. Together, the duo embarks on adventures through space and time.
Here are five fun, exciting facts about creator, Ryan Quincy:
Watching the first episode of Future-Worm! was such a joy. The first episode, “Long Live Captain Cakerz” will show you just how much Danny loves his favorite breakfast cereal, Captain Cakerz, and how he, along with Future-Worm!, battle a hungry hoard of aliens who also share the passion for Captain Cakerz.
The other two cartoons, “Healin’ Touch with Dr. D” and “Terrible Tuber Trouble” will show many more characters including Bug. You will also get a taste as to how much Bug wants to time travel with Danny and Future-Worm!, but you will have to keep watching the series to find out if she goes! Each Future-Worm! episode consists of three cartoons that make up the full half-hour episode. An 11-minute main story and supporting subplot, a 3-minute runner sketch and a 7-minute sitcom style story. Ryan noted that each has a nice variety of adventures and stories to tell, including cameos from renowned astrophysicist, Neil deGrasse-Tyson.Future-Worm! will premiere on Disney XD in August 1, 2016! I cannot wait to follow in the coming weeks and see where Danny and Future-Worm! go and what adventures they get into.
Disclosure: I was provided with an all-expense paid trip as part of a press Junket with Disney to cover this and all Disney XD/Future-Worm! media.
