Udderly Smooth + DIY Nighttime Lotion
With Fall upon us, that means one thing – Winter is getting close. And with winter and cold air brings dry skin. I’m happy to have Udderly Smooth, a Made in the USA product, there for me to help safeguard my skin. I’m excited to share some of their products that are my favorites with you, as well as give you a DIY Nighttime Lotion that you can use on yourself or your children!
Udderly Smooth is a stainless, greaseless water-based moisturizer with a very light fragrance. I use Udderly Smooth all the time for my elbows and knees, as they get super dry especially during winter. Miles even uses it because his are worse than mine. Since he works in a cooler most of the time, he has dry skin a lot so we go through a good amount each month. You can get their Original Formula in 2 oz. or 4 oz. tubes, 8 oz. jars, 10 oz. jar with pump, 12 oz. jar, 16 fl. oz bottles, or a 32 fl. oz. bottle.
These tubes are my favorite for throwing in my purse on the go, and I have a tube in my middle console in the car. You can throw it in your diaper bag if you use that, as well. The Aloe Vera formula is great for if you have sunburn. It definitely helps me out.
For the DIY Nighttime Lotion that I like to make, you just need a few simple things. Your Udderly Smooth lotion – I’m using the Shea Butter formula here – lavendar essential oil, and a mason jar. Start out by filling your mason jar halfway with lotion.
Next, add your lavendar essential oil. Add as much or as little as you want. I usually add between 10-15 drops because I love the smell of lavendar. Fill the rest of yoru mason jar with lotion, and stir.
And you’re done! I always put some of this lotion on my daughter’s feet before reading her bedtime story. It helps her sleep great at night, and she loves it because she gets a mini foot massage. It’s a win-win for both of us!
You can purchase Udderly Smooth right at your local Wamart Pharmacy in the first aid department.
