Homemade Vanilla Pudding Pops with Berries for a Refreshing Summer Treat
The warm weather is here and now we are looking for yummy Summer treats! Well, I don’t believe there is anyone out there that doesn’t love pudding pops! So, we have a real treat for you! These Homemade Vanilla Pudding Pops with Berries are simply delish! They are also homemade from scratch, which makes them that much better! Don’t let that scare you because they are so easy you aren’t going to believe it!
These yummy Homemade Vanilla Pudding Pops are also eggless, which for some makes a difference. Check out the easy recipe below and you will be making variations all Summer long! Homemade Vanilla Pudding Pops
Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 10 mins
Yield: 6 pops
Ingredients
½ cup Sugar
3 tbsp Cornstarch
¼ tsp Salt
2 cup Milk
2 tsp Vanilla
1 tbsp Butter
Strawberries, Blackberries (or other fruit), frozen or fresh
Instructions
In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the cornstarch, sugar and salt.
Heat milk over medium heat, just until bubbles start to form.
Slowly add the dry ingredients into the milk, stirring constantly.
Continue cooking, stirring continuously, until pudding thickens.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and butter.
Allow to cool until slightly warm.
Place a couple of berries into each of the popsicle molds.
Using a scoop, add a layer of pudding. Continue adding a berry or two and layering with pudding until popsicle molds are filled.
Insert sticks and freeze.
Enjoy!
