Vintage Ohio South Wine Experience: Just a Short Drive Away

This post may contain affiliate links or I may have received the product free in exchange for my honest review. See full disclosure for more information.

On May 22, Vintage Ohio South is returning to the Springfield, Ohio area, the Clark County Fairgrounds,  to celebrate and showcase the fine wines produced in the across the state of Ohio.  It will be the first major event for Ohio wineries following the Covid shut-downs.  To assure the safety of all, we have re-located to an outdoor site, a grassy area behind the Fairgrounds complex overlooking their beautiful lake.  Wineries will each be in their own tent, well distanced from one another.  Sanitization schedules and hand sanitation will be set up on each table. Six foot spacing will be observed. Guests must wear masks while actively eating and drinking.  Tables and chairs will be spread throughout Festival Field.

So, while we are working to make a safe experience for all of our wine lovers, we are returning to break the ‘Covid induced cabin fever’ and enjoy a beautiful day with our wines, their families and wine lovers from across the region.

Hours will be noon until 6.  There will be live music, 4 food truck serving items especially designed to complement our vintages, a dozen vendors offering shopping experiences and of course fourteen wineries.

Tickets are $25 per person in advance and include a souvenir wine glass, twelve tasting tickets and admission to all the fun.  Designated driver tickets include 3 non-alcoholic beverages.  Attendance will be limited, but if any slots remain, tickets at the door will be $30.

For a list of wineries and vendors and other details and to order tickets visit here for further details and purchase options.  Tickets are also available on Eventbrite.
